Buenos Aires, December 12 (NA) – A 23-year-old man, identified as Cristian Gonzalo Prado, is in serious condition at the San Martín Hospital in La Plata after being shot in the frontal area of his head. According to police sources reported to the Argentine News Agency, Prado was urgently transferred by his friend Milton Muñiz to the San Martín Hospital in La Plata, where he was admitted for a gunshot wound. Muñiz recounted that both were participating in a gathering at a home in the area when a fight broke out between two groups present. In that context, shots began to be fired, and Prado attempted to retreat towards his car along with Muñiz. At that moment, a white vehicle passed by the location and from its interior, new shots were fired, one of which directly hit the victim in the head. After this, Muñiz placed Prado in his car and immediately took him to the San Martín Hospital, where he remains hospitalized with a reserved prognosis. IP Investigators have already established the identity of the person who fired the shots. According to sources in the case, the aggressor has had a long-standing conflict with Prado, and both have prior records for robberies and illegal possession of firearms, both civilian and military. The Police carried out procedures to request a search and detention order for the suspect. Prado has multiple prior cases for various crimes and active measures, including minor injuries, aggravated concealment, illegal possession of a civilian firearm, illegal possession of war weapons, and an active perimeter restriction order in a case of domestic violence.
